You can look for signs to tell if someone you know is a Freemason. For example, do they have a Masonic ring or a car decal?

  • Find your nearest Grand Lodge and find information about the Lodges. You will need to express interest that you are wanting to be a Freemason. The person speaking to you will first try to determine whether or not you are joining for the right reasons.

The next step will be to fill out a Petition - The is a rather detailed form and requires information about yourself and beliefs. It will help the lodge understand more about you and give an overview about your life.
Once submitted, the Lodge will assign a few members look into your application and interview you.

And that’s it. You will be notified with the result, and the real journey begins!
